Pacific Immigrant Resources Society (PIRS) provides unique and essential programming for newcomer women and their young children across Metro Vancouver. Their programs include trauma-informed multi-level English language programs, women’s leadership and development programs, and specialized multilingual outreach support.

Their programs and services are available at no cost, and most programs have no immigration status restrictions and are open to women with any status (for example, temporary visitor, refugee claimant, permanent resident, citizen).

They are more than an immigrant and refugee services agency. They are a supportive community dedicated to empowering women to rise out of isolation and build a vibrant and fulfilling life in Canada.
