As a thank you to these institutions, we have launched the first-ever Canoo Awards! Through 4 awards, Canoo wants to highlight Canoo’s partners who have gone above and beyond in providing exceptional experiences for newcomers through the Canoo app.

Every award winner works with Canoo to provide the best welcome experience to newcomers. And the Canoo team is in constant contact with all its partners to ensure newcomers have the backing of institutions to support their immigration journey.
With over 50,000 free admissions provided by the Toronto Zoo in 2023, Canoo members saw their children smile and roar. Days at the TELUS Spark Science Centre and the Biodôme provided visitors with captivating glimpses into the world of science. These naturals habitats transported newcomers somewhere else, all presented in engaging and accessible ways. And each voyage on a VIA Rail train (literally) transported Canoo Members across mountains, rivers, and bridges to destinations across Canada, each with its own unique history and culture.
