Canmore Nordic Centre Provincial Park

Built for the 1988 Winter Olympics, the Canmore Nordic Centre Provincial Park (CNCPP) is home to Canada’s National Biathlon and Cross-Country Ski Teams. With over 65km of ski trails for both Classic and Skate techniques there is a lot of opportunity for recreational skiing, as well as high performance sport. The CNCPP has 6.5km of lit trails for night skiing and provides other recreational opportunities such as winter fat-tire biking, tobogganing, ice skating and Disc Golf. In summer the centre transforms to a mountain biking / trail running paradise, an 18-hole Disc Golf Course and an Orienteering Course. Throughout summer and winter, the CNCPP hosts local, Provincial and International Sporting Events.
Special instructions
A Kananaskis Conservation Pass is required to Park at the Canmore Nordic Centre Provincial Park.
To buy your pass please visit www.alberta.ca/kananaskis-conservation-pass or, the Administration desk located inside of the Canmore Nordic Centre's Day Lodge. Trail Sports (Located on site) provides Rentals, Lessons & Pro Shop. Cornerstone Catering has a café located within the Day Lodge open between the hours of 9AM-5PM offering a selection of hot and cold food and beverages.
