Richardson River Dunes Wildland Park, located south of Lake Athabasca, is part of the largest sand dune complex in Canada. It protects the best of the paleo-longitudinal dunes. Backcountry camping is permitted, but there are no developed camping facilities in the park. Hunting and fishing are permitted, and ATV riding is also permitted.
