The Banff Legacy Trail runs from the Banff Park East Gate to the Bow Valley Parkway, connecting Banff and Canmore. Open from April to October, the trail was built to commemorate Banff National Park’s 125th anniversary. Walk, hike or cycle on a paved path and take in breathtaking mountain views, then pause at a rest stop or picnic area along the trail for a break or snack.
